Polymer Clay Jewellery
Clare handcrafts colourful handmade jewellery. Clare Lloyd started learning how to make jewellery from precious metals about 16 years ago and was taught by another jeweller in Bath. Clare wanted to introduce colour into her work without using gem stones and so started playing with polymer, resin clays and artists’ pigments creating her own unique colours.
Clare states:
“I make a range of statement earrings and necklaces using polymer clay and a range of minimalist, everyday jewellery using resin clay with recycled sterling silver.
I use recycled sterling silver in my handcrafted jewellery and I use two vegan brands of polymer clay which I source in the UK. My resin clay is also manufactured and made in the UK.”
