Belinda Reynell is a contemporary landscape artist living and working in Devon. Belinda Reynell finds herself drawn to the abstract, by absorbing herself in the landscape and then working in the studio using her emotions and sense of place.
Belinda Reynell’s qualifications include a BA Honours degree in Illustration at Chelsea School of Art. Belinda has won Devon Life's Landscape Artist of the Year and been shortlisted for the Jackson's Open Oil painting competition with her emotional, abstract landscape paintings.
Belinda's large and small contemporary landscape oil paintings share her emotive response to the environment of Devon and Cornwall. Each of her landscape oil paintings are worked on over a number of days building up layers of texture and colour to create a finished piece which hopes to engage the viewer to make their own opinions and feelings towards the art. We love Belinda's passionate responses in oil paint to our local landscape of Devon and Cornwall.
