Aluminium Jewellery
Mandy set up her workshop in 1983 after leaving the Royal College of Art, working primarily in non precious metals, usually anodised aluminium achieving bright and brilliant colour effects, producing one off and batch production jewellery, creating large, bold earrings and pendants. Using aluminium and acrylic laminate means that her jewellery is both wearable and affordable.

are colour, pattern and technique. Although Mandy Nash trained as a jeweller, her aluminium and acrylic laminate pendants and earrings are influenced by both traditional and contemporary textiles.
Mandy states:
“Much of my recent work has evolved from looking back at my creative ancestry. It was my grandmothers who initiated my fascination with making objects. They passed on their traditional textile skills and started my passion for creating anything from colourful materials.”
