Tom Lennon

Driven by an insatiable appetite for getting the light just right and a lifelong obsession with the power of the water, Tom’s lamps made from locally found wood – often beside our Devon waterways, combines the two. Tom Lennon’s one of a kind drift wood and natural wood lighting brings natural, earthy, Devon beauty right into your home.

Tom uses the lightest touch and beautifully simple finishes to enhance the natural splendour of each branch he finds in Devon, preserving each piece of found wood ready for its new life as a lamp base.

Tom thrives on making the functional beautiful in each of his lamps. When not out on the waves, Tom can be found hugging the South Devon coastline or scouring the riverbanks of the River Dart and other Devon Rivers and Estuaries for the most incredible pieces of natural wood to take back to his workbench. Finding inspiration for his standard lamps, floor lamps and side lamps along the way as the sunlight dances on the waves or those first rays break through the leaves in the forest.

People love the hidden electric, cable wire embedded into the run of each wooden lamp, the weighty, slate bases and the unique shapes, tones and structures in Tom Lennon’s locally found pieces of wood.
