Jacqueline Seviour

Jacqueline creates fused glass inspired by Devon’s landscapes, crafting pendants and wall pieces that celebrate Dartmoor and the coastline. Living in a hamlet in Dartmoor National Park, she draws inspiration from her surroundings to create uniquely named pieces that tell a unique story. Using up to four layers of sheet glass, crushed glass, powdered glass, and enamels, Jacqueline carefully arranges each element to create depth and vibrant colours. Each glass pendant is kiln-compressed for a refined finish, intricate details are added through handwork, screen printing, or photographic image transfers, depicting the moorland, trees and features of our stunning, Devon landscape. Coldworking includes: tile sawing, grinding, and hand-sanding, refines the piece at various stages, with multiple firings, sometimes up to five, bringing everything together. The fusion of craftsmanship and chemistry ensures every piece is one of a kind. Each glass pendant enables you to take a small, memorable piece of Devon home and wear it!
