This page outlines the terms and conditions that govern any transaction between Cider Press Gallery (“us”) and a customer (“you”) when using our website. We use English throughout our Terms and Conditions.
Our Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site may change at any time. Changes will take effect on the date they are published on the site. Before placing an order on our website, you will be asked to read and accept these terms and conditions. At various stages of the ordering process, you will have the opportunity to review and correct any input errors. Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will notify you via email.
All artworks for sale displayed online are approximate sizes. If you wish to verify a size or specification, please contact us at 01803 866835 or email us at art@ciderpressgallery.co.uk.
We take care to ensure that the images displayed online accurately represent the artworks for sale. However, colours and shades may differ from the original due to the limitations of your display equipment.
All intellectual property rights for any artworks remain with the artist (“Artist”) who created them. Reproduction is not permitted without permission from the Artist.
Prices & Payment:
All prices and charges are shown in UK pounds sterling and exclude delivery charges (for details, see “Delivery” below). The total cost of your order will include the price of the products, plus the applicable delivery charge, both of which will be clearly stated in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.
Prices, offers, and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. We make every effort to ensure that all information on this site is accurate; however, errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will notify you and ask whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it. We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Delta, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and American Express. Payment will be deducted when an order is submitted. We will also accept BACS payment by prior arrangement.
Reservation, Purchase, Passing of Ownership:
If you wish us to reserve an artwork, we will take a non-refundable deposit and hold the piece for an agreed period. All artworks remain our property until full payment has been made by you. Upon receipt of full payment, ownership and risk transfer to you. If the artwork is to be delivered, we will advise you of the delivery options.
Delivery:
We will process all orders so that you receive them within 30 days. If, for any reason, your order cannot be processed within this timeframe, we will notify you and offer a full refund. All products are delivered either by tracked post and packaging, standard courier, or specialist art courier, depending on their size, fragility, and value.
Please open all deliveries immediately; any omissions or errors must be reported within 24 hours. All artworks must be signed for. Delivery by our specialist art courier is a door-to-door service, scheduled for a mutually agreed date. The items can be delivered to the specified address, unpacked, and thoroughly checked before our couriers leave. Costs for either of these services will be at our discretion and agreed upon with you before completing the order.
Delivery Charges:
We strive to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. Our charge depends on the type of product ordered and will always be confirmed before final checkout. You will only pay one delivery charge, regardless of the number of products ordered (subject to weight and insurance valuation limits). If you order two or more products that fall into different categories, the higher charge will apply.
Important:
We do everything we can to meet the specified delivery times; however, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. Please allow extra days for deliveries to remote postcodes.
Cancellations:
You can cancel your purchase at any time up to 24 hours after placing your order by emailing us at art@ciderpressgallery.co.uk or by calling us on 01803 866835.
Cancellations by Us:
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if: we or our suppliers have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered or if such goods have been discontinued; or if one or more of the products you ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract, we will notify you via email and re-credit your account with any sum deducted as soon as possible.
